    The Bear Hotel is ideally located in the heart of the bustling town of Devizes, Wiltshire. Our Lambtons restaurant is the only restaurant in Devizes to be awarded 2 AA rosettes. The hotel has 25 letting bedrooms, a mixture of singles, executive singles and double rooms all rated 3 stars by the Automobile Association. Majority of facilities especially accommodation are to a 4 star rating. We have excellent facilities for conferences, meetings and exhibitions. Our expert management team will assist in the pre-function preparation including help with providing p.a. system, audio-visual equipment and staging, if required. We will do all we can to ensure that your event will go smoothly on the day with delegates refreshments, buffet or evening dinner. Our impressive Ballroom Suite consists of the Ballroom, Ante Room and Ballroom Bar. It has its own entrance from the car park and its own cloakroom facilities including disabled toilet, and may be accessed via its own lift. The elegant Georgian Ballroom is beautifully decorated and has three stunning, high aspect windows with beautiful drapes, swirls and tails which will provide complete black out for conference presentations as well as the visual appeal. There is not a similar venue for miles around. Dimensions 110sqm i.e. 9.65m x 11.47m The Ballroom Bar which is an integral part of the Ballroom Suite can be closed off and used as a separate room. Ideal for break out meetings or where refreshments may be served. The Ante Room is a separate room adjoining the Ballroom and provides a splendid room for private meetings for a maximum of 30 people. This room is available for private hire separate to the main Ballroom. Dimensions 37sqm i.e. 4.24m x 8.84m The Siddons Room is another delightful room, overlooking the Market Place. It is ideal for private dinners or meetings (up to 12 people) and is a favoured room for committee or board meetings. Over the hundreds of years of its existence it has been home to countless ‘blue sky ideas’ and important business decisions. Dimensions 20sqm i.e. 4.09m X 4.98m The Queen Charlotte and Henry Addington Suites on the ground floor with outlooks onto the Market Place are elegantly decorated and are ideal for private dinner parties, meetings or informal gatherings. Queen Charlotte can seat up to 16 people for a private dinner or meeting boardroom style or 25 people theatre style. Henry Addington is laid out as an informal lounge area with leather sofas and a log fire in Winter. These rooms can be opened up to form a larger area ideal for social events.
